My 13 yo has 3 piercings. Neither she nor I care what anyone thinks. No one has commented on it. And if they are secretly judging, we can live with that. She's a straight A, honor student, and athlete. The piercings do not change that. But, as you've deemed it "trashy" I'm guessing you should probably say no to her request.

And, just a little pro tip, ear piercings have this amazing ability to be REMOVED for job interviews and such.[/quote]
