The anti snitch culture is very real and scary for people who would be targets of murder should they become known as a snitch. That being said, I also live in a neighborhood full of crime and have heard 3 people shot to death in the past three years on my block. How much worse will it be with less police presence? Most people in my neighborhood do not want to defund the police and I think most of the DCUM board needs to seriously consider what it would be like to live in a neighborhood where 5 men open shooting at the same time is acceptable.[/quote]
