Most high schools in MCPS are on a 7 period schedule, which is unfortunate. Some schools and I believe most magnets have blocks. I very much prefer block scheduling! It works well for my kid regarding assignment management and his teachers are able to cover a lot in one period or do in-depth science and math projects. I haven't noticed any issues with only having teaching contact 2-3 days per week. These kids are advanced but even in the regular classes, kids seem to adjust to the schedule.[/quote] Do you think this projects will be done during Zoom?[/quote]
