Yes, I also sent a follow-up email to the deputy chief of ECE and she basically stated are not 'abandoning' ECE. They are trying to figure it out, however I am trying to get them to re-think no live lessons IF it's ONLY DL.

As an ECE teacher I know I can reach my students, even through DL. How many preschoolers watch TV, Movies, and youtube? Willing to bet all. 
I used puppets, dressed up for some lessons, and I'm personally blessed to have a younger sibling who creates cartoons so she made some for my class specifically.

Every teacher can't do 'make your own cartoon' but they can do other things, not just a packet and a phone call. [/quote]
