We’ve had 3 Foresters and 2 Outbacks over the years. We noticed they begin to have performance issues after awhile. One Forester’s engine became sluggish after the 3rd year. Another, the transmission ran rough and made hissing noises. They all begin to show age after couple of years. On one, passenger side sun visor broke and wouldn’t stay up, another, the wiring to the airbag that detects weight on the driver seat malfunctioned, the clip on the headrest cracked and we’d often lose radio station settings.. to name some.
