Changed my diet and restricted calories based to get a deficit. Stopped drinking beer for about 2 months now, there are occasional hard liquor drinks, and when I mean occasional, it's far less than weekly. Granted I'm not getting as much exercise as before, I thought the calorie reduction and beer reduction would help me lose some of my beer gut. What am I doing wrong? Male 40s.
I am male and the same age as you and drink a lot more but have six pack abs. Unfortunately, there is no short cut. You need to keep going with the calorie deficit to lose the belly fat. I eat a lot but usually quite healthily. But I also do a huge amount of cardio and also do core and strength three or four times per week.
Also, you're male. Any 6 pack women over 35 care to "weigh" in?
