[/quote] my kid has attended Francis since pre-k and Kennedy was one of the people who was heavily involved in organizing parents and the neighborhood to lobby their councilmembers and the chancellor to not shut down the school. And he’s showed up consistently to push for modernization funding. Evans was also helpful in that effort, but Kennedy is the only one of the challengers to him who has consistently shown up for the Francis community, and I know he also advocated for Shaw Middle School last summer and for Garrison as well. Most of the Francis parents I know are voting for him including LSAT and HSA leaders and the former and current ward 2 board of education members have endorsed him. [/quote]
