“I’m very excited about it,” Evans said in an interview. “Early learning is very critical. … Children can be left behind.”
Patrick did what? LOL.

I genuinely think he has shills on here to boost "support" for his candidacy
Yes. And isn’t it well known that many of the anti-Jack Evans and anti-Bowser DC signs are put up by Republicans to breed cynicism?
What anti-Bowser and anti-Jack signs? There are none. Show us pics, as I’ve never seen these.
Got four mailers in over the past three days for Patrick Kennedy. He’s getting a lot of outside groups and PACs to spend money on his candidacy, but I’ve seen nothing disclosed on the DC Board of Elections site yet for his disclosures.
Mailers received include:
BWLDC - Baltimore/Washington Laborers District Council: lobbying group for local construction laborers union
Democrats for Education Reform - Pro-charter lobbying group tied to Corey Booker and NYC financiers
Kennedy’s priorities seem to align strongly with Bowser.
For a lot of families in Ward 2 that care about seeing improvements in DCPS, other candidates will likely be a better choice than Kennedy.

Has he ever actually held a job and supervised people?

Kennedy is only 27. How the hell does he have “almost a decade” of service to Ward 2? He’s not from the area.
Oh look, this talking point is on his website: https://patrickforward2.com/
Who is funding this kid? Someone please follow the money. This feels like a hyper-AstroTurf campaign.
I expect politicians to blow smoke up my ass, but you’re not going to convince a college freshman was “serving” Ward 2. Get real.

What an undistinguished group and Evans has really done a great deal for the city. Besides were in the midst of a crisis and more left leaning goofiness is exactly what we don't need.
Anonymous wrote:Jordan Grossman and Brooke Pinto are trying to buy their way to a seat on the Council. It is so obvious and people see straight through their campaigns. We don't need a council member with no ties of service to the community representing Ward 2. I am a huge supporter of Patrick but I also respect John Fanning and Kishan for a least having experience as community leaders and a record of providing support to Ward 2 residents.
