Labor.  It’s almost always more expensive than parts.  You can ask for a breakdown and they’ll give it to you.  I would trade it in for that 24k then add your 18k repair bill to it to make that 42k on a new car down payment.  [/quote]

Since you’re taking my advice, here’s some more.  Tell them you just got the furnace at your house replaced and you would like to know if they’re doing any specials or can give you a discount.  100% chance they lower the bill between 10 and 20%.  You’re welcome![/quote]
