My dad's side was Jewish and came over from Russia. Russian government and people were VERY clear to them that they were NOT Russian. Lots of persecution, etc. Jews were continuously kicked out of countries, so just because someone might have come from Russia doesn't mean that their lineage is Russian. It's not at all the same as being American. My dad's side has lots of military and are very patriotic Americans, because we can be. [/quote]
