If you are going to state what a club says at least do your best to capture what they intended.   Like you I am a parent of an Alexandria player.  They did not say " if you want to play you should for the most part expect an offer on the team you were on previously"

What they did say is exactly as follows and I quote from their email
"All current ASA Academy players will be offered a roster spot in their age group for the Academy 2020-21 program"

That is very different than what you stated.   it doesnt say on the team you were on previously and if you paid attention to prior communications and discussions offered by the club to parents you would know this.  They are offering an age appropriate spot to former players and will base that on the usual player assessments and so on.

nothing shocking here.  Just saying if you were with the club prior you have a spot on a team and that will be determined by where you belong based on skill and so on.   [/quote]
