OP, if you find a nanny you trust who is open to it, you might also consider letting them watch your child at their home - kind of like an in-home daycare, but with only your child. I've been working remotely for a year now, so long before all this started, and we did get into a good routine pretty quickly with WFH while our nanny was also there, similar to the situation 21.57 (on 4/25) described. It really is entirely possible to do. My kid can see into my office from the kitchen so I was never able to hide, but we all got into the routine after a couple weeks and was no longer upsetting to anyone. Anyway, a couple months ago our nanny asked if we'd be open to her taking DC to her place during the day, in part because she used to be a preschool teacher and has a ton of arts/crafts/kid's toys there. It's working out really well for all of us. She can get things done at her own home while DC naps, DC gets a change of scenery and a new yard to play in which especially right now is nice since otherwise we're all at home all the time, and it's easy for us since we don't even have to do drop-off and pick-up; they start and end the day with breakfast/dinner here in our home. So, just offering that as another possibility.
