[u]
I don’t think I could mentally take working until he house with my kid and a nanny. I would leave. My family lives 30 mins away so I would drive there if I had to work
I have always worked from home with my child and nanny. It works great if you have the right nanny. Before COVID, our nanny took him out every morning and every afternoon - Library, story-time, music class, play dates in the morning and to the play ground every afternoon where she set up playgroups with other nannies and parents. Since everything is closed, nanny still gets him out for two hours every morning to play in the park. But even with both home all afternoon it still works for us since she engages him in play and reads him tons of books. We got amazingly lucky with the best nanny. I love her company too!
