Does he think in terms of how his earning are HIS and not yours together? That's the big red flag. My DH has always, always said his earnings are OUR earnings. Even when I was working full-time. Everything of his and mine was and is combined. The "my money is my money and you need to beg for it" mentality is not conducive to being married. At least, not happily married. [/quote]

No kids. It’s never been much of an issue till now. Like I said because I never really needed to ask for $ till now. He’s bought me a few luxury vehicles  and nice jewelry but for some reason he has an aversion to giving me  money.  [/quote]
