Guess I didn’t know when that was.[/quote] The lottery results for SY19-20 and prior weren't solely a waitlist. It included matched students as well. So for PK3, students with list numbers 1-60, for example, were considered matched. The waitlist didn't technically "begin" until #61 and it continued on so it makes sense that before joining the city lottery, numbers in the 40s and 50s were guaranteed spots. All of that to say, they weren't going 40 and 50 spots down their waitlist.[/quote]
