You can take 12 weeks of paid leave. There are upper limits to how muhc you can be paid, but it may still be worth it.

OP beware- employers with <50 employees can apply for exemptions with the DOL. If your employer has <10 employees odds are good they will get one. FYI. Few employers of that size have the cash flow (particularly a non profit) to float that. [/quote]
