Why do we say that 'It would never happen.' It has already happened with the DC retrocession to Virginia. There is historical precedence to this. Part of me thinks that we should follow that example and retrocede to Maryland, or rewind the Northern Virginia retrocession to restore our state diamond shape before become the 51st state. :-)[/quote]
