No, it isn't. Just because your area has not instituted crackdowns on groups of any size, doesn't mean it's still OK.
Look at California and New York. They are, essentially, locked down. Yes, you can go out to the supermarket, pharmacy and for a run (by yourself), but groups of any size are banned, and no one can go to work unless they are an essential worker (health care, transportation, trash collection, etc.) 
They did this because the projections about this disease in the US are DIRE. Italy is a catastrophe right now, and it's because they didn't lock down their country immediately after the first cases started appearing. We didn't either, and we're going to pay the price very soon.
Hospitals are already running out of equipment and supplies -- masks, gloves, etc. Ventilators will soon be in short supply. 
This is a serious situation. That our POTUS and elected officials hid this information from us is their fault entirely, but now that the information is out there, we must heed it.
