Since they didn’t get divorced, wouldn’t she have had access to their marital property and continue to have access to it? Or was every bit if money over the last 30 years solely in his name? I think she should get at least whatever she would have been entitled to had they divorced.
Not if it was property he bought plus paid off pre-marriage and it was in his name. Considering that he was 40 when they married, he was with a prio ex-wife for 17 years, and he already had 4 other children - it’s highly likely.
They were together almost 30 years. Seems very unlikely that they bought nothing and he made no money during that time. I agree what he had pre-marriage (which I would think would have been the bulk of his earnings) should not be hers.
Sure - money she’s entitled to. It’s already clear he had $5 million to divide between six kids and three ex-wives (if she can claim it so can the others - 2 of the excluded kids already filed a lawsuit). As for the home - their joint property is listed for sale for $12.5 million and has been on the market for over a year. Don’t know what the deal is there. https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/140-E-19th-St_New-York_NY_10003_M32074-35601#photo2
