Go to collegeconfidential or reddit and learn about in-state colleges and universities that are self-selecting, especially when public guidance counselors are involved in directing students to the best suited college. You cannot compare the selectivity figures of in-state systems supported by the state high school counselor system to random applications to private schools. It's apples and oranges.[/quote]
