OP I was so glad dd asked young. It was easier than ds who wasn't naturally wondering. I said tiny part until she was 5ish than I said sperm and egg. It wasn't until last that she asked how the part from the daddy gets in the mommy. We had a book too, it helped with order of explaining and I had told dd that it was up to other moms and dads when they told their own kids. The book was on a top shelf but of course diligent little dd was certain to tell her friend she could read any book on these shelves except for that book : )[/quote]
