No one is attacking a 4th grader. Original post listed child as a 5th grader going to 6th grade magnet.

Also, I stand by what I wrote. Of course this not directed at the child.

This is about mom. Her DC could care less whether they go to the magnet school unless A. they dislike their current school friends B. mom & dad putting a ton of pressure on them about getting in.

Yes, I was harsh to op. Who goes on social media and complains that homework grades stopped their kid from getting into a Magnet school???

Again, this is about mom and dad period.

Magnet schools are great, no issue there, but there is a reason not everyone gets to go. That is not necessarily a bad thing. [/quote]
