So many posts here over the years where parents complained about lack of RSVPs to paper invitations sent to school--when it's very likely those invitations ended up buried in backpacks or crumpled up in kids' cubbyholes etc. Plus: Many teachers won't pass out invitations for you or if they do, honestly, they dislike it.
