I find it really weird that in a rich town like LA that the Quinn's were the ones who "owned LAPD".  They would have to be billionaires to earn that title, which doesn't seem plausible from owning a little store. I’m not sure about the woman , I was wondering who she was, the ending in the book was much different. In the book the store is a chain of grocery stores in California that was started by their grandparents. They might’ve said on the show but I don’t remember.  In the book the twins are 35 and Forty has been wasting money for years on many  failed movies he’s made, drugs, rehabs, and gambling. [/quote]
