How would they know you’ve blocked them? Do you actually think people stop and think about who is coming up in their feed. Seriously—your MIL & SIL will NOT say, “Hmm, I haven’t seen a post by Glinda in over a week. Let me see if she’s blocked us...”
Mine would. Bored Boomers.
And you tell them that you don’t use FB anymore because you have decided to get off of social media. I’ve blocked many relatives. Yes, they ask why they don’t see me. I don’t post anything anymore and agree with the poster that says none of us post anything but everyone still checks.
Until someone else in the family brings up a post that the OP posted or her SIL logs in from her husband's account and sees that they're blocked. Not only have you just given them even MORE ammunition than they had before, but now they have proof (that they can print out) which is confirmation/validation that the OP is a sneaky, untrustworthy, passive aggressive, liar as well. Great plan. Why lie?? You're an adult for God's sake. Lying is so childish and sheeply -- have some self respect and try being honest.
