Mine would. Bored Boomers.
And you tell them that you don’t use FB anymore because you have decided to get off of social media. I’ve blocked many relatives. Yes, they ask why they don’t see me. I don’t post anything anymore and agree with the poster that says none of us post anything but everyone still checks.

This. The solution is so simple but instead you make it into a huge deal.Anonymous wrote:This is why I have FB set so that I have to approve tags before they show up in my feed, and I very rarely let them show up in my feed.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:My SIL screenshots everything I post or anyone posts on FB and sends it to MIL who does not have FB. They discuss others for hours, so of course they gossip about me too.
Are we related? Ha.
I've set up Facebook so I have to approve all timeline posts by other people, to avoid drama.
You can also limit what certain friends see on Facebook, without notifying them.

Anonymous wrote:I blocked my in-laws and also my own older relatives, years ago. I just told them that I use FB to keep up with friends my own age etc. I have a good to great relationship with all (text my mom multiple times a week and MIL etc regularly too). I use a photo sharing site to share pics.
I found that the easiest.
Otherwise you can block them from seeing pics (and FYI you can also block people from tagging you do you have to approve it first) but IMO why go to the trouble?
FB is only mode of communication among many- it isn’t required you communicate with everyone that way.

NP.
Yes, they will. My own inlaws remarked frequently about my posts.
