[/quote] +1 When we lived in another school district, if the local school was full, you got assigned to the closest school that was not over capacity. The school district was small enough that this worked fine, and there were no school buses. But MCPS is too big to do this, so they need to redraw boundaries more regularly to accommodate changes to the school population, and yes, that means some of us will move. I would not bother going to those meetings now that I know all some parents do is shout and heckle, and it turns ugly. I'll just stay home and read it online.[/quote]
