Recently had a client - they were very happy. Young family with a newborn and trying to save a little money. They had some existing drywall damage. I sent a guy two-three times to fix/paint/etc. No charge.

Sure enough a few months go by and I get call for a nice size job - where did you get my name ? Well - it was the nice previous client that had been a pleasure to work for.

Truly I am amazed at that folks that just don't get it. You want a discount for a sign - do you realize what you are telegraphing ? [/quote]
