Yes, there are private commercial garages in that area but they can be a bit hidden if you don't know the area well. Use an app or site and you'll have a reserved space and directions to a garage rather than circling blocks looking for garage entrances. And street parking can be quite time-limited IF you even get it--two hours is not enough time for a decent museum outing. You'll spend a chunk of that time just going to and from the car. I hate having to have apps for stuff; with Spot Hero you do not have to load an app unless you want to. You can also book with just their web site. [/quote]
