What's the saying - you'll regret the things you didn't do? That's me when it comes to this. She got away, and I never said it. Not that it would have changed anything, but I would have wanted her to know.

That being said, I would probably just let it be, and let him process it. If you press him on it, or force him to talk about it, he may feel trapped.
