He won't prosecute simple marijuana possession and he'll prosecute theft cases up to $1500 as a misdemeanor (the current threshold for felony larceny is $500). $500 is a really low threshold nationally, and there's good evidence that raising the threshold doesn't impact property crime rates (https://www.pewtrusts.org/en/research-and-analysis/issue-briefs/2017/04/the-effects-of-changing-felony-theft-thresholds). So the answer is you expect a sensible, evidence based approach to criminal justice.[/quote]
