I am presenting colleges to my kid without stating preferences in the spreadsheet. Obviously I stated that there are other ways to academia besides LACs. Frankly, I agree with you on the usefulness of a degree in CS. PS:. I didn't know the NSF was the SLAC league.[/quote]
