That isn’t right. My freshman had no APs.  Orchestra. Brought in an A in Algebra. Took all honors and came out with 3As, and A-, a B+ and a couple Bs and is just below a 4.0W after freshman year.  1 AP this year, all other honors, Latin and Orchestra and PE.  She’ll. Be above a 4.0/4.1 easily. Weak freshman year because of ADHD medication issues.  Colleges look at upward trends, and will forgive a couple Bs freshman year a lot faster than junior year.

But the 4.0 isn’t right for a full honors load after sophomore year with those grades.. And junior year— still orchestra and language, but probably 4 APs and pre-Calc. Which will bump her a lot if grades stay up.

It looks to me like you have a TJ load. And that’s a whole different conversation. [/quote]
