Parts of Tara are lovely.
Never hear of Tara (and I lived in Arlington for 10 years).
It’s near Westover, usually called Tara Heights.
Long time Tara homeowner. It has never been called "Tara Heights." You might be confusing it with "Leeway Heights," which is a track developement west of Patrick Henry Drive. The civic association is known as the "Tara/Leeway Heights Civic Association." The prettiest streets are Inglewood, parts of Greenbrier, Harrison, Hollister, Huntington, and parts of 19th, 18th, and 17th Streets. In nearby neighborhoods of Larchmont and Wynnewood, south of 16th Street, the prettiest streets are Greenbrier, Illinois, Inglewood, Ivanhoe, and Jefferson Streets. Oddly the cross streets are not that pretty.
