[/quote] +2 After washing the jars and gaskets separately in the dishwasher, I leave both out to dry (lid open on the jar, the gaskets stretched out) separately for about a week to dry. Then I scoop each gasket into a paper towel, and put the paper towel with the gasket inside the jar. At that point then I do lock the jar down. I have never had a problem.[/quote]
