I really LOVE that first one! I think the trade-off with the first one is no overhang but you gain all that wonderful storage underneath. And for me, when I was a young mom, I only used the overhang for pulling up stools when making cookies with the kids. Because of this house's layout, the dr table is right there so I would have just moved the cookie helping crew to the dr table for our work. Having that full peninsula though means you now have a built in buffet table, too, for when you have a dinner with a lot of guests. Really cute kitchen! Thanks PP for the pics![/quote]
