[/quote] Okay, I’m the PP who said you can afford the mortgage on that house at $100k (which is $25/hr x 2 people working F/T). It’s potentially a stretch, but DH and I own a $525k house on $110k total income. We only save a little, have one kid, and we don’t have other debt, but honestly think you still qualify as middle class around here at $150k total HHI, and that might be more comfortable and/or include another debt payment.[/quote]
