This. I wouldn't want to make everyone miss out on a fun vacation just because you have a baby. And this is pretty much the easiest, lowest-key vacation so it's perfect. DH has to agree that he covers some of the staying home with baby time. This is a vacation where OP says the friends spend all day at the beach or on the boat. Her female friends are not going to give up a beach/boat day to stay cooped up in the house. As others have said, the baby can nap in a tent on the beach, in their stroller or car seat etc.[/quote]

Really? I’d spend one of 7 days hanging out with a good friend if she was stuck in the house. Especially if it meant I got a kid-free day out if it! I love the beach but I love my friends more. [/quote]
