I am 4’11 and have lost 8 pounds and am down to 123. I look pretty thin. No one would ever accuse me of being overweight but yet BMI still says I am. I have no idea how I could maintain weighing 94-115lbs. I wear a size 4 because I have thicker thighs and wear xs in shirts. I would have to starve myself to maintain that weight. I get so defeated tho seeing overweight in my medical records.
It sounds like you have a distorted body image. You are not thin. If you are fit and toned, then your body will still look 'good' and you may be very healthy but you aren't thin. Which is fine. Not everyone needs to be thin to be healthy. The BMI is just one index that helps to look at overall health. Like blood pressure or heart rate. You have to look at BMI in the bigger picture of all other aspects of health. What is your body fat percentage? waist circumference? etc
