Seriously? Capitalism has done more to save lives than you can count!  From medical treatments, medications, safe means of travel, safer forms of shelter, quality food that has been tested, etc.  Scary you don’t realize this.  [/quote]

Many of those things are the result of government regulation, or government/nonprofit research.  Unregulated capitalism led to companies selling adulterated food, which necessitated the FDA.  When you buy a carton of milk at the store, do you wonder whether it will contain actual milk, or do you assume it will?  If the latter, you have government regulations to thank.

No one said anything about unregulated capitalism.  They said capitalism.  Yes, there need to be regulations.  But the entire point is that the medication, adnavces in technology, improvement in building materials etc.   I could go on.  But you’re delusional if you think these advances and improvements would have happened without capitalism.
