[/quote] Right, but the $300k+ you get from selling it is what you need if your plan is to fund your kid's dream college and your retirement is in good shape, ie, you don't need the appreciation as much as you need the cash. Otherwise, tell kid they need to go to a less expensive school. [/quote]
