There is a difference between smoking a joint before bed and mainlining cocaine. Maybe he needs to look at different jobs. The stress of his job, the work hours, the pressures - all make it difficult to properly treat depression because slowing down often exacerbates the self depreciating thoughts and the guilt. How financially equitable are the two of you? Could you support the family if he was to take time off to get better and find a less pressured job?[/quote]
