Anyway, I'm sorry you're having an overall hard time.  Try to be kind to yourself and treat yourself like you would a friend in the same situation.  You'd tell your friend that they were awesome and beautiful and going through a shit-ton of stuff, right?  Whatever pep talk you'd give, try giving it yourself.  Hang in there.[/quote]

Yeah, I think there is something to be said for ignoring the behavior in this case. There might also be something to be said for explaining that it’s not generally polite to comment on people’s bodies.  It depends on the kid and the situation, I think. [/quote]
