Yeah we recently contacted them looking for a spot for my infant when our original daycare went through, and they weren't even taking names for the waitlist anymore, that's how long it was!

I heard a rumor that MCCA Kensington-Forest Glen was going to open an infant room (and eliminate the after school program?).  Does anyone have any intel on his?  Wondering how they plan to fill the spots.....[/quote]

Yes, MCCA-KFG is eliminating the school-aged classroom (it's consistently under-enrolled, from what I understand, because most kids got to before/aftercare at the elementary schools) and adding an 18-to-24 month classroom. So--not infants, but younger than any of their current classrooms, which start at age 2. The director didn't say when this would happen. They will not be doing Summer Adventures this summer (the school-age day camp program) so my guess is maybe they'll start the new classroom over the summer? [/quote]
