His school makes the students turn off their phones during the day and place them in their homeroom teacher's phone box. They can pick them up at dismissal. I told him it is my phone (I am paying for it) and I pay for the service/data so I can look at it whenever I want. I occasionally look at it and once I had to take it away because of some crass texts between him and his friend. He isn't interested in social media so far. His PlayStation is more of an issue than the phone.[/quote]
