UVA is Nowhere NEAR Michigan in terms of engineering or any other STEM fields. No comparison whatsoever. Michigan is much more selective and reputable than UVA, and has a higher percentage of OOS students [/quote]

USNWR is a joke — rankings aren’t based on thorough studies of each school or outcomes of grads.

The WSJ Times is much more informative. On their rankings, Michigan is listed at #28, Virginia at #51.
