OP here.  DS wanted us to do it.  He is very proud of the accomplishment.  Many many people post the college your kid decides to attend.  Also, I have no problem with people posting about HS they intend to attend, but to post about merit money and every other school's acceptance is over the top.

What is tacky about announcing your kids decision on what college to attend?  I don't see a problem with it at all.  Lots of my friends are doing it this year.  I sense some of these people whining about it are just envious of some of the acceptances.[/quote]
