Maybe the "friend" has alcoholics in her family and is really concerned about sending an 18 year old to a university known for binge drinking. Maybe she wanted to make sure that you as a parent were aware of this reputation. All in all, if you're having a conversation about acceptances, then you're inviting her to have an opinion.[/quote]
