[/quote] Not Lutheran any more (a UU member who thinks UU people are way too precious) but was raised Lutheran, and the Reformation basically did away with the idea you need an intercessor even for sacraments. I know the Catholic Church has more sacraments than Lutherans, but I'll bet blessing a house is not one of them. [/quote]
