I have a teen child going through this questioning and I m 100% letting them lead. I do wonder though, if the genderdysphoria May be hormonal in nature. I have an extremely low libido and that may have been inherited, leading child to have less libido than seems to be portrayed all around, leading to questioning ones’s sexual and therefore gender identity. DC never seemed to experience any identity crisis growing up.
This is an interesting premise. I'm wondering if young women with a low libido are more likely to focus on emotional connection with others, which frankly, is more easily achieved with other women. (I say this as a heterosexual female). For a teenage girl to emotionally connect with a teenage boy, this takes a lot of time and a very mature young man.
